June 18th marks 3 solid years of living in Brooklyn, New York. I was 33 now 36. I keep forgetting. Huh, I’ve helped to create a few projects, made some incredible connections and a mistake or two. But I’m here, where I want to be, happy and filled with gratitude. I have come to learn that slow motion truly is better than no motion.
In this quiet time of reflection, I pray for clarity, bravery, abundance of resources and an open heart & mind.
The Mermaid Festival was one of the first events I found my way to. I will start there, catch Charmaine dance and work my way over to Williamsburg for the Makossa BBQ. Break, then maybe head over to The Pearl and check out BCGDT or pop into Manhattan.

As a woman over 30 I can say that for the past 5 years men age 25-33 have come at me from all angles and walks of life. And while I do discourage them at some point you meet a match. Now that little boy with Ms. Hunter does look scared and ill prepared, but attraction is attraction and is undeniable. No need for labels. Let me live.
